Calgary based The Unravelling have released a new single ‘Master Drone’ and continues their blend of industrial and metal/hard rock, which reflects the infectious intensity of its creators.
After the success of 1st single ‘Revolt’, which was positively reviewed in over 100 publications worldwide (from Metal Insider to POPDOSE) and gained them over 20,000 Facebook followers in 2 months, the band are now celebrating the menacing and forceful ‘Master Drone’. Complete with new artwork from Shaun Friesen (www.freezendesign.ca), the project is moving forward with it’s own eccentric and mysterious artistic sensibility.
About the single, Moore says “the Master Drone is certain of his reality, and therefore living through an artefact. He is opinionated, and likely a respectable, ambitious member of society. He could be a motivational speaker, an atheist, a religious leader, a ‘life coach’ or a serial entrepreneur. He thrives within identity and strives for new identities a as he grows old. He’s in all of us. He represents our human programming.”
