It was the launch night of their debut album ‘Twist Your Bones’, where the band played it in full and a packed out venue was there to celebrate with them. With the man who features on the cover also there, the night was one big party.

Rock legends Deep Purple continued their extensive ‘Now What?!’ World Tour with a visit to Bordeaux in France. Joining them for two dates, rising stars RavenEye opened as special guests, bringing old school together with the new school of rock to make this an explosive combination.

Now in its 25th year, Bognor Regis hosted its annual Rox Festival where the town plays host to a heap of live music. Spread across a number of stages, the only place to be seen on the Saturday evening was Cheers Bar to see local heroes Davy’s Gripp play their set, and judging by a ram-packed venue, a lot of people had the same idea.

Guitar legend and rock icon Slash, along with the supremely talented Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators continued their World On Fire tour through Europe. When RavenEye, one of the most exciting bands to emerge in the last year who are also setting the world on fire with their sound were invited to join the tour for 6 dates, this became the ultimate gig for RARC, who flew to Europe to catch 2 shows. From the indoor venue in Geneva, to the outdoor auditorium situated on the seafront in Nice, both in sweltering conditions, rock didn’t get any more awesome than this.

When you get two excellent bands playing the same venue it’s always going to be a good night, when Well Hung Heart and RavenEye play together it becomes an explosive combination. ZZ Top many have been playing Wembley on the same night, but The Half Moon was the only place to be at in London on Wednesday.

It was the first headline show of the year for the Oli Brown Band with a triumphant return to The Flowerpot in Derby. With a mixture of blues, rock and acoustic songs, this was a set that had everything you could ever wish for in an evening of live music.

Camden Rocks played host to its annual day of rock which saw 200 bands play 20 venues. With a party atmosphere through the day and people just out to have a good time, London was the place to be to soak up all that the best rock had to offer.
