London based alternative rock 3 piece Projected Images have released 2 new singles ‘Forget Myself’ and ‘Sold Out’. Full of crushing riffs, with an impressive sounding rhythm and melodic vocals, this is a band who are creating a buzz on the music scene.
Band members Ralph (Vocals, Guitar), Robin (Bass, Backing Vocals) and Henning (Drums) have only been together for just over a year but have already played some headline shows including The Seabright Arms, a single launch at the The Fiddlers Elbow and most recently at The Islington, the band are also gaining a following on the live circuit as well as they build on their live performances.
Described in the Guardian as “anti-capitalist yearning between Pavement and At the Drive In”, both songs come across as being full of energy and they certainly also have an edge to them. With a variety of influences such as metal, punk pop and rock, it is refreshing to hear something so vibrant. Both songs make a strong impact from the very first listen and Projected Images have a distinctive sound that makes them stand out from many other bands around at the moment.
With plans to make a full album in 2015, the future is looking very bright for Projected Images.
