Imbium

Worthing indie rockers Imbium have released part one of a three EP release.

Doing something which totally describes to band to a “T”, the three-piece will be offering up a series of EP’s, starting with ‘Part One: The Radioactive Club’ to fans – and those yet to be fans – of b-movie.

Not wanting to stop there with an ambitious set of releases, Imbium have also self-written, filmed, and directed, the music video for the single off the first EP in the series, ‘Backseat Bingo’.

Rather than opting for a traditional album, and after having success with their unique “fucked up pop and roll” sound, influenced by the likes of Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, Pavement, Beach Boys, Sonny, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Snarky Puppy, Dinosaur Jr, Taking Back Sunday, and Oreo Verhoh, the band wanted to be able to make a mark by doing something not regularly seen.

The second EP release will be called ‘Part Two: Lonely Planets’ and will be due out towards the end of the year.

Imbium will be performing at the following venues:

October 27 – Bideford (Palladium)
October 28 – Northampton (King Billy)
October 29 – Leicester (The Shed)
October 30 – Stoke (The Full Moon)
October 31 – Pontypool (The Dragonffli)
November 1 – Bournemouth (The Winchester)
November 2 – Matt’s House
November 3 – London (O2 Arena) (yeah, we wish…)
November 5 – Worthing (FortyTwo)
