Mamma Freedom

Mamma Freedom have released the first single ‘Cast The First Stone’, from their second album ‘The Voodoo Suite Sessions Vol I’.

This track has a blues rock vibe plush a dash of soul added into the mix, and the single grooves through a catchy melody. With a soaring guitar solo over a smooth vocal, and its orchestral sound, there is also a retro spin on the track to make it one infectious sounding song.

Mamma Freedom are Manchester band with a difference, paying respect to what has come before while forging ahead with their own style and trying to create new chapters in a city full of culture and diversity. Written by brothers Alexander and JV Johnston, ‘Cast The First Stone’ sees the band continue with the groove, big sound and lyrical depth that has been their trademark sound but allowing the track a great cross over potential.
