Australian six-piece Fairchild have released a new music video for their single ‘Stay Young’.
The clips consists of footage taken from tours throughout Japan, Singapore, China & Hong Kong over a three year period. Originally from the Gold Coast, Fairchild toured their local area extensively before expanding their reach to Asia from 2011 onward – a move the band admits spurred them to continue writing music and developing their sound.
They are now based in Manchester, UK and continue to demonstrate why they are one of the hardest working independent bands making rounds. ‘Stay Young’ is the second single from their self-produced sophomore EP ‘Sadako’ which has just netted a special Japanese only release (‘Strangers’ LP) via P-Vine Records. Additionally, Fairchild released a double A-side single ‘Hot Rod // Nom de Guerre’ (UK) in June, produced/mixed by their good friend Catherine Marks (Foals, Wolf Alice, Sunset Sons) who also worked on their debut EP ‘Burning Feet’.
