New York Tourists

New York Tourists will be releasing their latest single ‘Call’ on 22 October.

This storming track is a sonic soundscape of pounding rhythms and raw edgy vocals, with a sound that has been likened to Queens of The Stone Age meets Foals.

Their debut EP received rave reviews from some of the UK’s most respected music media outlets and their song ‘Chew Me Up, Spit Me Out’ was selected as one of BBC Introducing’s top 10 tracks in 2013.

2014 saw New York Tourists’ release their next record, an EP called ‘Dead Man’s Leather’ via London based label Kittiwake Records. Again, notable support slots followed with the band playing alongside We Are Scientists, The Cribs, Shed 7, The Subways, The View, The Sunshine Underground and Buzzcocks, together with a headline slot on the Alternative Stage at Blackburn Festival.

The band also have a few live dates over the next couple of months:

25th September – Stockport Live
2nd October – Roper Hall, Preston
30th October – Camden Barfly
13th November – Ferret, Preston
19th November – Wharf Chambers, Leeds
