Australian based The Pinheads have announced they will be on tour over the next couple of months in support of their ‘I Wanna Be A Girl’ EP, which is set for release on 25th September.
The six, sometimes seven piece outfit from the northern suburbs of Wollongong spent most of 2014 writing tunes, recording in their shed in the bush and playing shows around Sydney and Wollongong with like-minded bands. By early 2015 they had inked a deal in blood with the Farmer & The Owl label and begun work on their debut ep.
With both the title track and the latest single ‘If I Have To Wait’ melting ears & getting spins on stations such as Triple J and Fbi, as well as plenty of on-line support, the band are ready to expand beyond their home city. The Pinheads are proud to be announcing their first east coast tour and signing to Melbourne’s 123 Agency.
