Post War Glamour Girls

Post War Glamour Girls have released part 1 of their new ‘Feeling Strange’ EP, with a new video for ‘Wax Orphans’ to accompany the new release, which is the follow up to ‘Felonous Punk’ that was released earlier this month.

Having won themselves a huge reputation over the past year following the release of their acclaimed and outstanding album ‘Pink Fur’, their a limited edition EP release ‘Feeling Strange (part 1)’, makes up the first part of their forthcoming second album, out this October through Hide & Seek Records (Sam Airey / Dancing Years).

Leeds based Post War Glamour Girls have since returned to the studio to work on the follow up to their debut, and ‘Feeling Strange (Part 1)’ is the first half of the full forthcoming album to be released this October. The EP sees the band marrying their expansive left-field sensibilities with a more honed and focused approach to both structure and repetition. Lyrically, the themes are as abstract and abrasive as ever, with drawled defeatist lines that carry the band into a more playful (and often paranoid) territory than heard on their debut ‘Pink Fur’.

‘Feeling Strange (part 1)’ is out now as a strictly limited edition release from http://postwarglamourgirls.com/album/feeling-strange-part-1. A second EP release will follow on September 18th, with both parts making up Post War Glamour Girls’ full album release ‘Feeling Strange’ in late October.
