The Poetry Book

Madrid based The Poetry Book have released their sophomore EP ‘Young Martyrs’.

The shoegaze/coldgaze/postgaze duo of Chris w & Soul R convey a new wave, and sometimes industrial soundscape to their tracks across the EP, with rich textures and layers of sound, over a dark and brooding vocal. Although there is an underlying solemn tone to the tracks, which have a hazy melodic style to them, each track is delivered with a lot of substance.
