Burn Down Rydell

Wolverhampton alternative rockers Burn Down Rydell have released their latest single ‘Drowning’, which is taken from their new EP ‘Try Silence’.

Not content with producing a catchy and infectious sounding record, with raw and emotional vocals, the band also roped in Fred Mascherino from Taking Back Sunday to seamlessly add in his own melodic guitars to the song.

Frontman Andy Zmiko had always been a huge fan of Fred Mascherino’ work, both in Taking Back Sunday and Terrible Things, so Andy took a long shot….he contacted Fred, sending over demos and asking if Fred would like to play on the tracks. As demos were passed over, it became clear this collaboration was something special, which is stamped all over ‘Drowning’. The guitars and rhythm form a solid foundation for the vocals to soar over the hooks and with a monster chorus, it has all the right elements to make this a favourite song.
