Devon rock trio Empire Of Fools will be following up on the success of their recent single with new debut mini album ‘Devil Inside’, which is due for release on 22nd September 2015.

In conjunction with the announcement of the new EP, the band have also released a new single and video for ‘Higher’.

From the opening notes of ‘Down To Earth’ with its monstrous riffage, and with an anthemic chorus on the very first track, it is a record you are going to play to death as this EP delivers on every single one of the 6 tracks. Just when you think there can’t be a better track, ‘Higher’ blows that idea out the water with killer guitars and a rhythm to die for. Add in the powerful vocals of Mark Pascall and a kick ass melody and this leaves you excited to hear the rest of the tracks. ‘Devil Inside’ which received critical acclaim and numerous airplays due to it being one of those earworm songs, has you moshing out to such a powerful combination of bass, guitars and those epic sounding thumping drums, which takes numerous repeat plays before you are ready to move on to ‘Dirty Mind’. With a more gentle start, here the melodies come to the fore as the chorus builds into a monster power ballad and you know exactly why The Darkness wanted Mark for backing vocals on their album title track ‘Last Of Our Kind’. Continuing the rich textures of melodies and guitars that rise into a crescendo of sound through the chorus, ‘Hope’ has the ability to draw you into the song, before the guitar solo soars over the deep-set rhythm. ‘Unstoppable’ teases you with an almost whispering intro before the power is unleashed. Bringing the tempo back up to epic proportions with massive sounding hooks, the vocals almost snarl through the verse, and this track ends 6 songs that any rock fan is going to want to get their hands on when it is released. Empire Of Fools are going to be unstoppable with this excellent EP.

When asked about their forthcoming mini album, Empire Of Fools frontman Mark Pascall said “We wanted to release a collection of music that truly represented us right here, right now. In an age where music is so eagerly consumed and at times throwaway, we wanted to leave a lasting memory. So creating ‘Devil Inside’ as a mini album made sense to us. There was no way we were going to throw in another 4 songs just for the hell of it and compromise on quality. ‘Devil Inside’ is something we want people to digest and come back to again and again”. Empire Of Fools have achieved that and a whole lot more with this EP.
