KINGSWOOD will be making its way to New York for this year’s CMJ Music Marathon.
The Melbourne quartet will be performing a handful of special showcases, including the following:
Friday, October 16 – New York, NY – Fat Baby – 12:30am
Saturday, October 17 – New York, NY – The Delancey (Aussie BBQ) – 10pm
The band has been nominated for Best Live Band by Rolling Stone AU, as well as Best Rock Work at the APRA awards. They’ve become a fixture at major festivals in their native Australia, including Groovin The Moo, Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival and Big Day Out. Now, though, they are ready to conquer America.
KINGSWOOD is comprised Fergus Linacre (lead vocals), Alex Laska (lead guitar & backing vocals), Jeremy Hunter (bass & vocals) and Justin Debrincat (drums & backing vocals). The indie foursome recently offered fans a taste of new music with the double single, ‘Ohio / She’s My Baby’. With its blaring guitars mixed with flirtatious falsetto vocals, ‘Ohio’ was recently featured in Netflix’s hit series, Bloodlines.
