Monks of Mellonwah have released a new single ‘Even When It Burns’ ahead of their EP launch this month.
The band’s new 7 track EP ‘Disconnect’ is set to be released August, 2015. ‘Even When It Burns’ is currently available for free download (limited time only) on the band’s Bandcamp and Soundcloud, as well as on iTunes and other digital stores.
After releasing a trio of EPs, ‘Stars are Out’ (2010), ‘Neurogenesis ‘(2012) and ‘Sky & the Dark Night’ (2013), Monks of Mellonwah teamed up with Grammy-winning producer Keith Olson (Fleetwood Mac, Ozzy Osbourne) and acclaimed engineer Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons) for their long-awaited debut full-length album, Turn the People (released March 2014 via Gatcombe Music Pty Ltd.) which received critical acclaim from The Huffington Post, Guitar World, Music Connection Magazine, and Popmatters.
Formed in 2009 by school friends Vikram Kaushik, Joseph de la Hoyde, Joshua Baissari and John de la Hoyde, the band represents a collision of musical personalities, creating a fusion of alternative, indie, and film-inspired rock.
