New independent UK-based rock record label Crooked Noise Records are pleased to announce their launch, as the first wave of signings to the roster are revealed. The label has also released a free download compilation EP featuring a track from each of the artists.
The Cambridge-based imprint was founded by Tom Newman, who comments: “Crooked Noise Records was created out of a passion for truly independent music and helping to build sustainable careers for artists who aren’t afraid to put in the graft. Our first wave of bands is so diverse yet, to me, makes complete sense as we all share the same common set of values and goals. All four bands have killer releases dropping in 2015.”
Amongst the first wave of bands to be announced on the CNR roster are Gloucester hard-punks BLACK ART, Merseyside alt-rock outfit F O E S, Banbury metallers I Cried Wolf and ambient alternative quartet V / V E G A from Bedfordshire.
