The Electric Circus

Minnesota based The Electric Circus have released their self-titled EP ‘The Electric Circus 1’ which is influenced by the psychedelic sounds of the 60’s but also has more modern influences as well.

The Electric Circus is the brainchild of Jonny Kasai who’s influences are cited as late 60’s music such as Pink Floyd, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, and various obscure psychedelic masterpieces, but also influenced by new music such as The Black Angels, Tame Impala, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

The 5 track EP is a psychedelic rock based record, that has a complex layer of styles that mix together to form a rich and textured sound. With dark vocals at times over the vibrant melodies, the guitars soar through the tracks, whilst the keyboards add in delicate vibe to the songs.

The EP is available in digital download format from the bandcamp page of The Electric Circus.
