Bobby Mahoney and The Seventh Son

New York Hard rock band Bobby Mahoney and The Seventh Son have released their new single ‘Star-Crossed’ which is from their full-length album ‘Friends in Low Places’.

Influenced by music legends such as Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Green Day and The Gaslight Anthem, with raw vocals and a garage tone to them, this track has a slightly dark feel to it and is reminiscent of a more retro rock sound.

Originally coming together for a single showcase performance, the band released their debut EP ‘Only Ashes Remain in 2012’, which earned an Asbury Park Music Award nomination for “Top Young Band” in 2013. They have since opened for popular artists, including The Gaslight Anthem, The Hold Steady and John Herington.

‘Friends in Low Places’ is the band’s first full-length studio album with all 10 songs written by members Jon Alba and Bobby Mahoney
