Mark Daniel

Connecticut based singer songwriter Mark Daniel has just released his latest 4 track EP ‘Repair to New’.

Having had an illustrious career supporting the likes of Steve Vai, Living Colour, the Spin Doctors, the Smithereens, Vertical Horizon to name a few, and having been in various rock bands along the way, Mark recorded 15 songs in 2014 with drummer Mickey Curry, four of which are now on the new EP.

Playing all of the instruments except for drums and also writing and producing the EP, this is a selection of great sounding songs such as the opening track ‘Vacant Beauty’ with its slightly southern sound, to the rockier sounding ‘The Breakdown’ with its catchy hooks, and ‘Not The Same’ which is full of melodic vocals that rise to a big sounding chorus. All of the tracks on ‘Repair The New’ are a great collection to listen to as they blend well with each other on the EP. Ending on the more delicate ‘Fall Behind’ that is full of emotive lyrics and with a haunting guitar solo, Mark Daniel has produced an excellent EP.
