Alt blues/rock duo The Winter Brave are set to release their forthcoming EP ‘The Hand You Never Seem to Lend’ on July 28.
The Winter Brave gained international attention and momentum in the winter of 2013 when Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters mentioned the band during an “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) on Reddit.com and are sure to spark even more interest with their upcoming release. The attention on Reddit resulted in a spike in their popularity and exposure via sites like Buzzfeed. Several weeks later, The Winter Brave posted a message on Reddit to thank their fans for the tremendous support, sparking another viral response.
Within three days, they topped 200,000 plays on Soundcloud.com. Soon after, their EP ‘Metaphors’ became the #1 best selling album on the music website Bandcamp. Currently, the band’s online play‐count is over 350,000 listens.
Earning a spot in the top 10 of the Top 100 of the Jansport Sonicbids Battle of the Bands and landing features on Diffuser, The Undiscovered, Music Times, among others, The Winter Brave are ready to make another wave with their third EP.
